Pancake Party

Lent Ecumenical House Groups

Men's Group

Meeting for a social evening at the Wagon and Horses public house, Surbiton. Our guest will be speak to us on his work in the wine trade.

Lent Lunches

The first of the Lent Lunches begins on 29th and then every week in Lent. It costs £2.50 per person (or more if you wish), proceeds go to the Bishop's Lent Appeal.

The Polesden Lacey Group poetry and music evening

Our evening in aid of the Bishop's Lent Appeal is being kindly hosted by Moira Greenfield this year. Please bring your mouse supper (cheese/biscuits) and/or drink with you along with your favourite music, poetry or prose for a pleasant evening's fellowship. A couple of hints: it is St Patrick's Day and this is Dickens' bicentennial anniversary! Donations to the Bishop's Lent Appeal. RSVP Janet Cooper.

Week of Guided Prayer

This will follow the pattern where each person allows 30 minutes for a conversation with a companion and their own time of silence. More details to come.

Wednesday 28th March Details Time

Pilgrimage to Westminster Abbey

This will involve a private tour around the Abbey (once most people have gone home), hearing about its history and praying in its sacred places. The tour begins at about 6.00pm and ends with Compline. We would like this very special opportunity to be for people who have not been on such a pilgrimage before. If you are such a person and would like to come please give your name to Helen Hancock as soon as possible – preferably by email. All (ages) very welcome..
