Being all I can be

When you think about Christians or Christianity, what comes to mind?

• An outdated belief system which is out of touch with modern science
• Superstition
• Fanaticism
• People saying what not to do!
• Boring people……??

Well, the great secret of Christianity is that it offers life not in small measure, but in great measure.

God desires, like any good and loving parent, that we grow into being all we can be and more! God wants us to use our brains, to discover more about his fantastic world; God wants us to use our hearts to love one another and His creation; God wants us to grow in the Spirit, noticing what is beyond the reality of every day things. In short - God wants us to live life to the full using the talents that we have and growing in love, hope, peace and joy. Christianity at its best does not make the world a smaller place, but a bigger, richer and more enchanting place.
