Costs are kept to a minimum by the use of Freedom Passes by those who have them and the choice of venues with free or low cost entry. The day is carefully planned so that those who are less mobile do not have too much walking to do, and Underground travel is kept to a minimum.
The group usually leaves Surbiton at 10am either by bus or by train (completing the journey by bus). A break for refreshment is included before the visit. After the visit we have some lunch, and the return to Surbiton before the rush hour for about 4pm.
Recent visits include Kew Gardens (complimentary tickets provided), Somerset House and the Courtaulds Gallery; the Docklands Museum; the Museum of London; the Canal Museum; the New Architecture Centre; The Freemasons' Hall, Great Queens Street; the Natural History Museum - and there are plenty more in the pipeline!
Upcoming events are featured on the weekly updates sheets given out at Sunday Service and also on our Parish News page.
