Funerals at the Parish Church

Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life; they who believe in me will never die." - John 11: 25

At the time of the death of a loved one we make it a priority to offer care and compassion.

We will do all we can to bring dignity and comfort in the difficult process of arranging the funeral. While most funeral services take place at the crematorium, or cemetery chapel, it is worth remembering that the Parish Church is also available. In the local Church the atmosphere can be much less hurried, more reverent; and you have the possibility of using special music and shaping the service as you might wish.

A funeral service in Church is not expensive. Should you ever have cause to arrange a funeral, when you meet with the funeral director do first ask about the possibility of using the Church or contact us at the outset.

The Parish has a Garden of Remembrance where ashes of parishioners may be buried. Please contact the Parish Office for further information.
