MUSIC

The Parish has a well-established choral tradition, and new members to either choir are always welcome. The choirs rehearse separately and then together at St Andrew's Church every Friday evening from 7.30pm to 9.00pm. The choirs sing at the Sunday morning Eucharist, as well as providing a large musical contribution to all the major services and choral evensongs. Music is generally in the post-Stanford tradition, but the diet is highly varied, interesting and enriching, with a large amount of Renaissance and high-quality modern choral music included. There are two excellent three-manual organs by Hunter and Mander, plus a portable one-manual chamber organ by Osmond.
